Nicolas has a long experience in managing strategic projects of European scale, sometimes through incubators, creating the new business lines of strategic importance for the future growth of companies in the payments sector. He generally operates in highly dynamic and challenging environments, with a strong focus on execution and change management.
Across his various roles, staff, peers, executive management and customers have recognised his leadership, negotiation and management skills.
He holds an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi (Milano) and is fluent in 4 European languages.
Management 15 operates in English, French, Dutch and Italian. Based in Milan, Italy, it performs its work either from its headquarters or on-site, including over long periods.

From 2004 to 2013, Visa, leading the project for the creation of V PAY and later the business unit for its market deployment across Europe. The creation of V PAY has brought Visa to win significant market shares in a range of European debit card markets dominated by MasterCard
Electronic Billing and Payment Platform (EBPP)
In 2000 to 2001, Isabel, leading the initial project for the creation of an Electronic Billing and Payment Platform (EBPP). After the law was changed in Belgium, removing the obligation for paper-based invoices, the service grew and was spun off under the name Zoomit, a solution used by all companies producing high volumes of bills (telecom industry, banks, utilities, insurance companies, …).
Launch of Internet-banking
In 1997 to 1999, Dexia Bank (now Belfius Bank), leading the operational aspects (back-office, middle-office, front-office) of the introduction of the internet-banking solution, which has in the meantime become the main operational channel between the bank and its retail customers
